Kati Thanda – Lake Eyre

Central and Western Queensland in epic flood.

Water pools over a catchment larger than most countries.

A surging ribbon flows to Kati Thanda.

At the request of my son, in Winter 2022 we visited that salt lake shore.

Now I envisage the imminent explosion of life. 

And wish to return.

To feel the pulse of the continent.
