NASA scientist James Lovelock originated the Gaia hypothesis.

Earth as an integrated, self-regulating and complex living entity.

I am drawn to his vision. 

Yet perhaps an anthropocentric bias has always left me unconvinced.

The whole planet is a living organism?

Hmmm …

Then last week I read:

Yes! The planet alive like a great tree.

Like Yggdrasil or Tane Mahuta.

A World Tree.
